Best Gamer Drinks in 2019

Honestly water is the best drink and I’m pretty sure every study and everything out there is going to talk peak performance on a steady diet of drinking water. Gamers though demand more than just water, obviously, preferably something with RGBs in it I’m sure. That’s where we take a look at the popular gamer drinks here in 2019.

As a reminder, the FDA puts a limit on the daily consumption of caffeine at around 400mg. Drink any of the following in moderation and we’re not doctors, so make sure to read what’s in something before you drink it.

Monster & Red Bull

The 30 year old boomers choice, Monster and Red Bull both have caffeine and a ton of other junk in them. They taste good, although watch the calories on the non-diet versions and make sure not to drink too many.

GFuel

If you love Kool-Aid with the convenience of pre-workout, then GFuel is for you. Load the powder into a shaker bottle and add water. The benefits is that it’s cheap, around $1 a shaker bottle full of powder and it tastes pretty good. It has a TON of caffeine in it though, so you might not want too many of them.

Razer Respawn

I’m going off second hand info here, I haven’t tried any respawn yet. Reports say that it’s good but comes off a bit more expensive than GFuel. Reports claim it tastes good.

Rockstar

Rockstar is a cheaper energy drink around where I live, but tastes pretty good. I haven’t found a diet version, so it does have calories, but often at $2 a can or less, it’s not a bad deal.

Hot Tea

This is an option for times you need to calm down and relax, for those zen sessions of a puzzler or just for a night talking with the bros. Lots of tea to choose from. Loose leaf is going to give a much different (if I say better) taste than the stuff you buy in tea bags, but you do you.

Tea has some caffeine and it tastes great. Takes some time to make, but if you do it a lot you can keep an electric kettle in A SAFE SPOT near your computer (WHERE IT WON’T FALL OVER) and have tea whenever you need it.

Soda

Soda is good. If you want to drink soda you do you.

Coffee

It works just like an energy drink. Bonus, if you have a K-Cup machine you can put it beside your computer and have coffee when you want it.

Others

Really drink what you want when you game. You don’t need gamer fuel to game at your peak or whatever. If you enjoy energy drinks, then do it. If you enjoy water, then yeah have at it. You do you when it comes to your hydration. Just be safe, follow the doctor’s orders and make sure you are hydrated.
