The 1.20 update has added beautiful cherry blossom trees to Minecraft. On our community server we love them and have got them planted everywhere. They’re a bit tricky to find, but we’ve got the details on how to locate the Cherry Blossom Biome.
Locating the Biome Without Console Commands
If you’re just on standard Minecraft and aren’t using console commands, there isn’t going to be a real “trick” to finding the Cherry Blossom Biome. It often spawns where meadows would, near the base of a mountain, which means you can find emerald ore underneath the biome.
If you’re in creative mode you can simply fly in a single direction and keep going until you locate the biome. You’ll notice them by the distinct pink leaves and lime green ground.
Locating the Biome with Console Commands
If you have proper server permissions or are playing creative yourself, you can simply use:
Java: /locate biome cherry_grove
Bedrock: /locate biome biome:cherry_grove
That will return the coordinates which you can then use /tp (if available) or go to those coordinates! For instance, you can often just use the /tp <cords> command on most servers (with permissions) or in single player creative with cheats on to go directly to a location.
