Ne Zha Guide
Ne Zha excels in the solo lane where he can overwhelm opponents and gain an early lead. Focus on clearing waves quickly with Ring Toss then harassing the enemy solo laner with basics and Armillary Sash. Save Flaming Spear for kills or escaping ganks. Play aggressively to dominate your lane opponent and deny them farm.
In team fights, Ne Zha eliminates enemy squishies like mages and hunters. Look for opportunities to sash targets after escape abilities are down. Obliterate them with Universe Ring Toss. Your ultimate also provides crowd control immunity, so don’t hesitate to use defensively when focused. Alert your team to focus whoever you grab. With key enemies defeated, you’ll win most fights.
Ne Zha’s abilities work well together for high burst damage. Armillary Sash engages, chases, peels and disengages. Ring Toss deals huge damage, so open with it when ganking or in fights. Flaming Spear provides power, crit chance and attack speed; keep it on cooldown in combat. A typical combo is Ring Toss, basic attack, Armillary Sash, 2 basics, Flaming Spear, basic, Universe Ring Toss. Practice timing the ultimate to land consistently. It also secures objectives like Fire Giant or Gold Fury. Sash the objective, drop Ring Toss and Flaming Spear, then obliterate it with your ultimate.
Ne Zha pairs well with high-damage mages and hunters who capitalize on isolated enemies like Scylla or Hou Yi. Guardians with setup like Athena or Geb also synergize great. Avoid picking into tanky comps with heavy crowd control.
To dominate as Ne Zha, kill opponents, deny farm and secure objectives. Land abilities consistently, win lane early, transition to eliminating key enemies mid and late game. Play around power spikes and practice Universe Ring Toss timing. An expert Ne Zha carries teams to victory.
Build Ne Zha for power and penetration. Start with sigil, Spear of Desolation and Magus. Ne Zha’s passive provides healing when abilities crit, so build Deathbringer and Malice. Magi Shoes, Titan’s Bane, Heartseeker and Crusher are also good options. Actives should be Purification Beads and Sundering Spear for extra crowd control and damage.
Invasive maneuvers using Sash and Ultimate are your primary initiation tools. Sash into the enemy team, drop Ring Toss and immediately ultimate a squishy target. Your teammates follow up, and the fight shifts in your favor. Ne Zha’s damage and crowd control require opponents to focus him, allowing allies to deal damage freely. If forced to disengage, Sash to jungle camps or objectives and escape.
Early game farm in solo lane. Clear waves with Ring Toss, harass the enemy laner. Steal opponent’s buff camps and contest Totem of Ku whenever possible. Gain solo lane pressure and rotate for ganks in other lanes. Secure Fire Elementals and Gold Fury. Win lane by out-farming and killing your opponent before rotating.
Mid game transition to eliminating enemy damage dealers in team fights and contesting objectives like Pyromancer. Gank lanes when ultimate is up and snowball other lanes. Build a level and gold lead through kills, towers and a damage-oriented build.
Late game, push lanes, secure major objectives like Fire Giant when opportunities arise. Team fight frequently, focusing on bursting mages, hunters and assassins. End the game by defeating the Titan. Play around opponents’ actives and escape abilities, enduring short periods of being focused to deal maximum damage.
Ne Zha rewards an aggressive playstyle. Practice landing abilities, dominating lane, then eliminating key targets and securing objectives. Play around power spikes and master Universe Ring Toss timing.
