After releasing a teaser trailer just one day prior, Gearbox delivered a press conference at PAX East on Thursday that many Borderlands fans have been anticipating for quite some time. No, I’m not talking about Randy Pitchford’s demonstration of his magic skill. On top of the foreshadowed Borderlands 3, here are all of the announcements from Gearbox’s PAX East showcase. Pathologic 2 Gets a Release Date The strangely-named Pathologic 2, which is actually a remake of the 2005 cult classic Pathologic rather than a proper sequel, got a release date of May 23rd, 2019. The game is being published by tinyBuild of Hello Neighbor fame in cooperation with Gearbox and will be released in chapters through Steam. From Lair of the Shadow Broker to cosmetic horse armor, there has been varying degrees of quality when it comes to DLC but is it all just too much? Now don’t get me wrong I have absolutely L O V E D some DLC, the aforementioned Lair of the Shadow Broker, RDR Undead Nightmare, and Blood and Wine from Witcher 3 to name a few but I am also just getting worn out with DLC. For every Ballad of Gay Tony, there is a thousand garbage, poorly thought out, overly expensive, could have been in the game from the start pieces of trash that populate our online gaming stores., and it just wears you down after a while. A 353 page Google Document outlines a wild theory about Kingdom Heart’s III occurring in an alternate dream universe. While the 353 pages aren’t all text and it does have a lot of pictures, the theory is very through in going over how this happens, the exact point in the timeline it occurs and showing a myriad of Easter eggs to back up the plot. Alright, do I seem a little obsessed with the Resident Evil 2 remake? Because I totally am. The recent DLC has only reignited my fire to 100% this game because not only does it add more quality fun content but its also very affordable with the low low price of completely free. I don’t want to make it seem like the only thing to praise about this DLC is the price tag, the quality is easily that of a paid add-on and I can’t express how awesome the developers are for doing this too but I’ll get to that later. Darkest Dungeon, the turn-based dungeon crawler of 2016, is officially getting a sequel. Now Red Hook Studios, the development team responsible for the hit game, has come forward with a new trailer to officially announce the upcoming release.
