Starting to get into World of Tanks now can be intimidating, information flows at you like a raging river right and it can get kinda hard to make the crucial decisions, especially the choice of which nation of Tanks to call your own. The decision of which tank line to start with is as much an important one as it is a long-lasting one, with you having to get to tier 10 with a nation before moving on to another which requires a lot of hours, or money, to do. So if you are feeling lost and don’t know which tank line to pick we’re here to help. 5. Italian Here is a fun fact for newcomers to WoT, a game mechanic is bouncing off shots, and there is hardly a better line for that than the Italian track. Basically the WoT’s glass cannon, the Italian line focuses on mobility…

After releasing a teaser trailer just one day prior, Gearbox delivered a press conference at PAX East on Thursday that many Borderlands fans have been anticipating for quite some time. No, I’m not talking about Randy Pitchford’s demonstration of his magic skill. On top of the foreshadowed Borderlands 3, here are all of the announcements from Gearbox’s PAX East showcase. Pathologic 2 Gets a Release Date The strangely-named Pathologic 2, which is actually a remake of the 2005 cult classic Pathologic rather than a proper sequel, got a release date of May 23rd, 2019. The game is being published by tinyBuild of Hello Neighbor fame in cooperation with Gearbox and will be released in chapters through Steam. Risk of Rain 2 The sequel to Hopoo Games’ popular rogue-like takes the series from the 2nd dimension into the 3rd. A third-person co-op game being published by Gearbox, it’s a bit of…
Not every game has to be revolutionary, not every game has to redefine a genre, and not every game has to completely blow you away with graphics and even if a game doesn’t do any of these things it can still be a good game, which is exactly what Crackdown 3 does. The only way that Crackdown 3 would seem revolutionary is if you sealed yourself away after the development of the original Crackdown and said “Don’t let me out until they make another good Crackdown game.” and were only just now released. While it may seem like I am too harsh I don’t mean all of this in a negative way, a problem that many games have in today is not building a solid foundation to their games and letting the “marketable” features get away from them like graphics, over the top changes to solid ideas, and things like…
So I have a problem with Apex Legends. The game has a severe learning curve and is extremely difficult to pick up at first. I have a few matches under my belt now, and by matches I mean surviving for a brief moment until I get killed by someone who actually knows what they’re doing. So my problem with Apex Legends is this: why is there no solo matchmaking at all? As one experienced in the art of team sports, I understand what Apex Legends is doing and I appreciate their idea of promoting the team over the individual. However, I find it hard to be able to experiment with the game and get comfortable with it when I have a team that is relying on me at all times. As someone who is currently not very skilled at the game, I would like a mode that would let me…
Now I can already tell I will not gain favor with a good portion of the internet for this one but it is my opinion as a writer so gosh darn it I’ll say it. I, like many others, decided to try out Respawn Entertainments latest game Apex Legends and I have to say I hate the trend of every AAA including a Battle Royal mode but in this instance, I actually enjoyed my experience playing. The game feels a little out of balance at times, nothing that can’t be fixed with a few updates, but the game attempts to be as fair in that balance as possible such as making team revives possible but still requiring some skill, and luck. In addition, when you drop into the map a screen pops up not only telling you where you dropped but the quality of loot that will be there which…
Video game publisher Ubisoft has come forward with yet another installment within the Far Cry franchise. With the title having recently hit shelves, it’s time to take a look at some of the best guns-for-hire to make their way into the game. Far Cry New Dawn made its official release Feb. 15. Set 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5, the direct sequel is featured within the fictitious world of Hope County, Montana. Adding onto Far Cry 5’s follower system, Far Cry New Dawn offers players guns for hire and fangs for hire. Both systems provide players the chance to gain an NPC companion to accompany them on their journeys. While there is a bevy of options when it comes to companions, there are five followers that truly stick out. Here are some details for each character and directions for how to add each one to your team.…
‘Swatting’ is a growing phenomenon within the gaming world. Now Peter Simeti, founder of Alterna Comics, has become the latest alleged victim in an open ‘swatting’ case. ‘Swatting’ occurs when a person phones in a false report to 911. Claiming that there is a violent, terrorist related threat occurring within a home, the caller intentionally has armed SWAT teams sent to the recipient’s home. The act is considered a prank to some, but often ends as a fatal final moment for those on the wrong end of the supposed joke. Back in 2018, for instance, 25-year-old Tyler Barriss plead guilty to a series of prank calls to police. Among them, one of the supposed pranks ended in the death of 28-year-old Andrew Finch. As reported by CBSLA, Wichita Police Dept. Deputy Chief Troy Livingston made the following statement concerning the matter. “We believe this incident was a case of swatting,…
Ubisoft’s Far Cry series has experienced a great resurgence since the release of the highly praised Far Cry 3. Well, it would appear that the next title in the series may offer a few new takes on the now well versed franchise. Far Cry New Dawn is set to take place 17 years after the events of Far Cry 4, offering a somewhat post-apocalyptic take on the series. Speaking in a recent promotional tweet, creative director Jean-Sebastien Decant has now revealed that Far Cry New Dawn will feature some RPG elements. “We pushed what we call the light RPG approach in the game to create more depth, so you’ll be able to craft guns that have ranks, and these ranks they will be useful to fight against enemies that also have ranks.” Decant said. “We have what we call the escalation system for the outposts,” Decant later continued, noting changes…
