Valheim is an amazing viking journey through a hostile world made so much better with friends. One of the beautiful things about Valheim is that single player can become multiplayer at anytime by inviting other players into your world and vice-verse. This of course requires your computer to be on and you to be playing, but what about when everyone wants to build cooperatively but not have the host on? Then it’s time for a dedicated server. You could rent a dedicated server for a myriad of hosts. It’s simple and some even let you host mods. If you do that you’re basically done; rent the server, follow the server hosts guide and voila. Yet you’re now stuck paying for a server that you could play this month or you could not and often times these hosts can have data export restrictions making your game world… their game world. So…
Limbus Company is the third install in Project Moon’s Lobotomy Corporation world. The manager, Dante, is tasked to take his 12 sinners into the ruins of Lobotomy Corporation to uncover the Golden Boughs. To do so you’ll need to know how to use identities, EGO and fight in the tough world of “The City.” You can read more on the story if you’re interested. In this guide we go over what Identities are, how EGO works and how the flow of combat works. By the time you reach 3-4, you’ll need to master all three to make it through. Identities and the Gacha System in Limbus Company Identities (ID) are alternate universe versions of the twelve sinners. The base 12 sinners are unlocked by default. You can draw IDs via the gacha system. They have three rankings: 0 (base), 00 and 000. The most powerful universal version is often considered…
SIGNALIS only allows for six inventory spaces and many players do not like the concept at all. So much so the developers have responded noting that they’re working on iterating on some kind of change that doesn’t remove the spirit of the gameplay but alleviates some of the player concerns. For me, I find the entire debate fascinating. The issue stems from the way that the game presents the inventory as sort of a puzzle challenge, akin to games likes Resident Evil. It forces the player into a set playstyle, something modern gamers aren’t very appreciative of, where you will always optimize your run by not bringing ammo and only carrying one weapon. That gives you five inventory slots for all other items. Yet, players who play the game on Easy or Normal will likely want to play aggressively and in doing so will want different weapon options, lots of…
There’s a lot to picking your first class and then subsequent job in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) to take into consideration. Seasoned and new players alike can have difficulty choosing which job to play and it’s especially relevant for new players who have to stick with the first class they pick for awhile. Getting stuck on that class selection screen is a real reality with so many classes in FFXIV to choose from. The first thing we go over is picking your class and you’re stuck with that until level 10. Then at level 30 you can change to jobs which grant expanded abilities. Then at level 50 there are new jobs to unlock based on expansions and other considerations. So we go into what all the different classes / jobs do in the game, how to acquire them and what they do. So consider this a one stop shop…
Having the right weapon at the right time isn’t always possible in a randomly generated loot crawler like Minecraft Dungeons. That’s alright though, there’s plenty of weapons all around that will knock your enemies off the map and take down even the toughest bosses on the highest difficulties. If you’re wanting to know what are the best weapons in Minecraft Dungeons are along with their special abilities then look no further: Top 5 Melee Weapons: Top 5 Ranged Weapons: These are the best melee and ranged weapons in Minecraft Dungeons. The game is pretty cool though with all the weapons. Sometimes it’s more about what makes you happy and what mods you get than the actual weapon type. These unique-ish weapons above though will come generally with special abilities that’ll give you an edge ontop of the mods. Hope this list helps you out. Happy hunting in MC Dungeons!
It can be a lot to figure out what to play in Warhammer 40k: Darktide. The operators, which are the primary top hierarchy for the class, all come with drastically different playstyles. A Preacher will do mostly melee while a Sharpshooter will do mostly ranged and there isn’t much in-between. What you pick is what you play. The good news is the game gives you multiple character slots so you can go in and play whatever operators you’d like. You can also make an operator, try it out for a bit and then reroll and skip the cutscenes and get all the starting progress made up in about 30 minutes. Don’t ever hesitate to try another class! Below we’re going to break the operators into our best generalist picks (i.e. you want to do everything on a single character) and then explain what the best specializations are. We also give…
Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach is the first 3D action survival horror game in the FNAF series. You take on the role of Gregory who wakes up inside of Glamrock Freddy in a Pizzaplex that is in a state of chaos. We’ve compiled some tips below to help you survive the night along with how to obtain the game’s various endings. The biggest tip of all is to understand that the game is linear but not completely linear. Areas are gated past passes that are only given out at certain times and in certain areas. However, how you upgrade Freddy and how you proceed can be completely up to you. You can see your available missions anytime on the watch. Scott Cawthon retired which means that the series is moving on now with him taking a less hands on approach. However, it’s very clear in Security Breach that Steel…
Power Wash Simulator is the latest in the niche yet ever growing mainstream of “common job simulation” games except this one is a bit more satisfying than some other titles, for sure. You’re equipped with your trusty power washer and the ability to change nozzles with a flick of your mouse wheel as you clean grim and cut away at graffiti. There is some interesting tricks to speed up your power wash, but one quick disclaimer: Power Wash Simulator is more of a relaxing jaunt through cleaning than an objective based game. You’re under no pressure to clean faster and there really isn’t anything beyond the super obvious “spray it with water” to get the most out of this game. This is a rare title I’d say it’s more fun to be slow and methodical than it would be to power through it, but we want to take a look…
The year was circa 2002. Ragnarok Online was getting long in the tooth and I was invited into a mystical world that existed only until 2005, which was Dark Age of Camelot. The entire game itself was I would argue harder than Dark Souls. Soloing anything was next to near impossible and leveling required a group and lots of patience. FFXI, while not my cup of tea, was in many ways similar and players have similar opinions. The point of the game, the success, came from community. Building community with like minded players who wanted to sit and chat and play a video game together was your reward. It wasn’t power. It wasn’t fame. It wasn’t prize money. It was friendship, something we’ve long long lost in online gaming. To level, you would have to have a stereotypical archetype group of a tank, healer and DPS. The tank could only…
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a continuation of Luigi’s bad luck of having to rescue his brother from some wacky group that has captured him. In Luigi’s Mansion 3 you dive into a hotel that has many floors for you to tackle and locate your best friends who were invited for a weekend of relaxation that turned sour. Overall, the game isn’t too complex. There are some minor jump scares, like interacting with a drawer may cause a jack in the box style effect. You’re guided throughout the game by your loyal pooch and if you’re ever really stuck, just go into the game menu for some hints or wait for a bit and one of the characters will help let you know what to do. Otherwise, here are some tips to make the game a bit easier and to understand a few of the neat mechanics in Luigi’s Mansion 3:…
