Valheim, released in 2021, has a functionally broken progression system. The game’s difficulty ramps up dramatically after the swamp, causing players to focus either on early game content or rely on mods to fundamentally change the game. Valheim’s approach to the survival mechanic has made progression take an exhausting amount of time to reach the best parts of the game and its updates. Many players will reflect on their fondest memories resting between the meadows and the swamps, when the game is still simple and the gameplay loop is refreshing. The manual nature of everything works and the game is challenging and exciting, no matter the settings. Starting at the mountains things change. This comes from a Valheim multiplayer prespective, not so much a single player perspective. The Issues with Progression The biome progression within Valheim is meadows, dark forest, swamp, mountains, plains, mistlands, ashlands and then the as of…

I recently purchased this really fun Game Boy refurb called “Pastel Boy” from Vapor95 which is a reseller for Gamerchanger Mods. They took a case from MizuCat (which was limited to 50), some upgrades and voila: you get a new Game Boy. I haven’t received it yet but it got me hankering for more: I realized this wasn’t a Game Boy Color. This was, by all accounts, a wonderful decoration for my house and nifty toy but it wasn’t really useful. I needed something where I could bring my massive library that I have amassed of portable games around with me and the Zelda Game & Watch is really useful, but it only has Zelda. I don’t want just PSP either, I want GBA! Luckily that’s where retro handhelds come in. Steam Deck / ROG Ally These devices are now more aesthetic or price based – $150 or less to…

Valheim is an amazing viking journey through a hostile world made so much better with friends. One of the beautiful things about Valheim is that single player can become multiplayer at anytime by inviting other players into your world and vice-verse. This of course requires your computer to be on and you to be playing, but what about when everyone wants to build cooperatively but not have the host on? Then it’s time for a dedicated server. You could rent a dedicated server for a myriad of hosts. It’s simple and some even let you host mods. If you do that you’re basically done; rent the server, follow the server hosts guide and voila. Yet you’re now stuck paying for a server that you could play this month or you could not and often times these hosts can have data export restrictions making your game world… their game world. So…

This guide will help you understand which classes are the best (and worst) in Legends of Idleon, which order to choose for your characters and exactly why. This is something that actually determines how well you’ll do in the entire game and how much you can advance because each of the classes are much more proficient in some resources than others. The Class Tier List So let’s break this down. The warrior should be your first class that you make because it’s going to be focused on mining, the first really important resource for you and it’ll be really good at farming something you’ll want to pour a lot of your resources into for your first character. Warriors do a multi-swing attack in melee, making them a lot more effective at farming actively than Mages and Archers, who attack at range. Idleon is a game of minimizing damage, so melee…
