The World Next Door is about a girl named Jun who goes to a portal that connects Earth with this other world and then she gets stuck with her kawaii alien friends who work to return her home before she perishes, as Humans can not survive on this other world. I found the game lacked balance between the start and the ending. The game starts off with a lot of energy and story that reminds me a lot of Night in the Woods or Oxenfree. It then quickly begins to turn into a monster of the week like crawl through what short bites of story you get and finally lands in a room temperature bowl of chicken noodle soup, lacking any satisfactory closure to the many plot threads that exist. The action combat is puzzle based but I found avoiding damage to be tedious and cumbersome so I just turned…

Have you ever had that one person that always stole the spotlight from everyone else? That one kid in class that was smart, popular, would always speak the loudest and be the first to answer the teachers’ question? Or have you ever felt like you weren’t the favorite child and your parents would pass you over in favor of the other kid? Well, now you know how it feels to be a Keyblade in any Kingdom Hearts game. The Ultima weapon has always been….. well the ultimate weapon, while there are other Keyblades that have better strength or magic the Ultima is always the perfect mix of the two. So in an effort to help out all of the quiet kids of the world I am making a Keyblade tier list specifically without any of the Ultima weapons. It’s only been a few months since Rockstar Studios’ released Red Dead Redemption 2. However, it would appear that the game has already garnered some serious sales numbers. Now parent company Take-Two Interactive has decided to come forward with the details. While titled Red Dead Redemption 2, the game is actually a prequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption. Starring Arthur Morgan, the game centers around the Dutch Van der Linde gang during 1899. Featuring a slew of interesting characters and set in the American wild west, Arthur Morgan is sent on an adventure that will change him forever. Take-Two Interactive has now come forward with a detailed report of their fiscal third quarter. Within, the company revealed that Red Redemption 2 has “sold-in more than 23 million units worldwide.” It’s important to note that “sold-in” means that the game copies were sold to retailers, rather than directly to customers. However,…

Bethesda recently announced that they will be giving gamers a free copy of both Fallout 1 & 2, along with Fallout Tactics, as an extra bonus for all of the problems and issues that gamers have ran into. Normally, such giveaways are just a bribe, but in this instance, I actually like the gesture. It’s nice that gamers are able to get something extra with a game they purchased and for the problems they’ve experienced. What’s even nicer, the free software is actually something that most gamers won’t even think of or consider. Fallout 3 was the third main Fallout game, a huge departure from Fallout 1 & 2 which were top down ARPGs. Back when Fallout 3 came out, Fallout 1 & 2 were still popular games because it was 2008, ten years since the release of Fallout 2. It has now been ten years since Fallout 3 and…
