EA Vancouver has reportedly been developing a new Star Wars game as of late. However, it would appear that Electronic Arts has decided to pull the proverbial plug. As reported by Kotaku, the game was initially intended to be a sprawling, open-world game within the Star Wars universe. However, EA has since cancelled the game in favor of developing a smaller scale title. In a recent statement to Kotaku, EA danced around the topic of the cancelled game. Rumors are flying around on the internet about a new Batman Court of Owls game, but that’s not what we are here to talk about today (but we will at some point). Instead, I want to talk about an awesome concept that I think any Batman fan would enjoy, no matter if you know what the Court of Owls is or if you don’t even know Batman’s secret identity. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is without a doubt one of the best games I have played in years. With so much to do and explore, I found myself lost in the world of Hyrule once again. Breath of the Wild brings a fresh view to the way a Zelda game is played. Your options are limitless. You can do anything you want. Ordinarily, Zelda games in the past had a certain formula. You have to defeat a couple of temples, where you usually find an item that helps you to navigate the temple and defeat the final boss. You then get the Master Sword, defeat a few more temples, and then you fight Ganon or the main boss. It is all a linear story.
