#DRIVE Rally takes the casual driving / drifting game #DRIVE to a new level. #DRIVE Rally features multiple distinct themes like snow, desert and forest with multiple tracks and many paths through each. It’s a delightful casual rally game that perfectly melds rally racing, accessible racing simulation and drifting into a neat package with a smooth FPS bow on-top. The game is only in early access, so it gets better from here but what’s available now, in its current form, while not perfect yet, is a beautiful time waster that achieves what it sets out to do already. Let’s dig into it. The Concept #DRIVE Rally features two modes currently: championship and quick race. These are Rally time trials so you’re always alone (unless you have ghost mode on). In championship you earn cash and car parts but drive a fixed vehicle each race (that’s aligned to the map). In…

Disco Elysium is a true RPG and a lot of fun. It can be difficult to figure out what you’re supposed to do and when. While we have some spoiler free tips, they don’t give you the direct answer. The hard thing about a game like Disco Elysium is that you can approach it in so many ways that there isn’t a universal best way to play it, especially considering how skills impact chances of success for various quests. To that extent, we’ve put together a helpful FAQ and mini-walkthrough on the story so that you can get answers to the questions you have about the game. Is there combat or jump scares? There are no major scary bits, although there are a few “sudden surprises” that aren’t quite jump scares – like the screen blacking out or something like that. There is no combat. All of the game is done…

Death is a natural part of life. Life giveth, life taketh, and life messeth with you a little bit along the way. It’s always sad when a game series forever concludes, but all good things must come to an end. But what about those series that never received a definitive end where the protagonist walks into the sunset as the main theme starts to play? I mean, that’s how my life is going to end (I have rehearsed it repeatedly), but there are many series of games that received no such luck. Today, let’s take a look at what games should’ve gotten another in their series, or should make a return, or simply added truth to the saying that the good always die young. Or, worse yet, are frozen in suspended animation until their publisher decides to use them ever again — truly, an even more twisted fate. 5. F-Zero…

Ben Affleck officially announced on Jimmy Kimmel that he is no longer playing Batman. Affleck had tried to initially write, direct, and star in his own Batman movie, but ultimately he couldn’t make it happen. The project is being passed on to director Matt Reeves, who is best known for directing Cloverfield, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and War for the Planet of the Apes. Reeves has spoken about making a noir Batman movie that will focus on the detective skills of Batman, which I think is going to be a great, refreshing take on the character that the films have left out. But who will don the cape and cowl? I have no idea why his name has been thrown around in the mix, but there is a rumor out there that Robert Pattinson may be in line to play the next Batman. Yes, the vampire from Twilight… I refuse to live in a world where he is my…

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is without a doubt one of the best games I have played in years. With so much to do and explore, I found myself lost in the world of Hyrule once again. Breath of the Wild brings a fresh view to the way a Zelda game is played. Your options are limitless. You can do anything you want. Ordinarily, Zelda games in the past had a certain formula. You have to defeat a couple of temples, where you usually find an item that helps you to navigate the temple and defeat the final boss. You then get the Master Sword, defeat a few more temples, and then you fight Ganon or the main boss. It is all a linear story. From the beginning of Breath of the Wild, you get the sense that this is no ordinary Zelda game. You realize the…
